I've been so wary about posting on this blog that I have been avoiding it for months. I have made posts, read them, re-read them, saved them, edited them, etc etc. The criticism I could potentially get for this is overwhelming.
But today, on the TODAY show, Robert De Niro "came out" (so to speak) about his position on vaccinations. He is not ANTI-VACCINE, he is PRO-SAFE vaccines. As am I.
The producers of Tribeca Film Festival pulled the film from it's line-up due to potential backlash that could result from it's showing.
I feel so proud of this man who is a major spokesperson in the acting community. His movies are amazing and he has quite the following. The fact that he decided to put himself out there and share his opinions with the media is outstanding. Way to go, Robert!
